Once in math.....

It was the last math class of the school year. A few of my friends and I were huddled around a table working on our final assignment. Together. Oy vey.

During the end of the school year, most students tend to...... lose focus. We were on the second or third page of work when we came across a chart with a few X's already drawn into the boxes. Probably thinking that one of us drew in it without her looking, my friend, (annoyed) tried erasing the X's in the chart. Realizing that her eraser alone wouldn't do the job, she vigorously runs the eraser over and over again over the same spot. Still not defeated, she keeps on doing so. That is, until the teacher exclaims, "Oh, right! I forgot to tell you that I already drew X's into the chart for you. Now, these X's represent......." My friend froze in her erasing spree. I, on the other hand, had seen the entire thing and busted out laughing, because mistakes like these just aren't like that friend of mine, they were something I would do. But she started laughing too and everything was ok in the end. Except, my other two friends had no idea what we were laughing about, so while we practically fell out of our chairs laughing they just kinda started at us. But that's ok because we eventually caught our breath and told them.
